James Kerr - Stop Motion Animator
James completed his studies at Northumbria University in Newcastle and formed Kerrupt Animation. Specialising in the unique art form of stop motion animation, Kerrupt's style of work proved hugely popular with the company, gaining its first commission in 2003 – a series of animated idents for MTV Europe. After several successful months with MTV, Kerrupt was asked to produce some stop frame animation for CITV. The company began production of its very first children's series – the highly successful 'Sailor Sid' - and producing several more series developing 'Little Lodgers', a long form series for Channel 5 Broadcasting. The company has produced many more children’s TV shows as well as commercials, channel idents, promos and music videos.
Les Spink - Illustrator - BA (Hons)
Les has over 25 years experience under his belt. He worked for large London advertisement agencies and blue chip design companies as a storyboard artist and visualiser. His diverse creativity has also expanded his talents to work as a concept artist and Maya modeller for other animation studios and game developers. Les has such a broad range of skills, it's hard to define what he does. Let's say he can draw at least, which is what he enjoys the most!
Daniel Roberts - Technology Guru - BA (Hons) / MA
Since graduating with a Fine Art degree from Sheffield Hallam University Daniel has worked in a range of jobs in the design and education industries, from teaching and developing courseware to freelance web design and 3D. He has just completed an MA in Design Futures at Goldsmiths, where he focused on how the use of technology can enhance the relationship between humans and natural ecologies.
